As the polls closed on April 28, we wrapped up the very first federal election campaign in the new riding of Edmonton Gateway, and what a journey it's been! Running a campaign is no small feat, especially in a brand new electoral district, but thanks to our incredible volunteers, supporters, and community members, we built something meaningful together. A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers
Whether you knocked doors, made phone calls, delivered signs, staffed events, or helped behind the scenes, this campaign wouldn't have existed without you. Your energy, time, and commitment brought our message to life and made a lasting impression across the riding.
From the early mornings to that final push on election day, you showed what community-driven politics looks like. We are so proud of the effort we put forward, and deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
What We Accomplished
With Jeremy Hoefsloot as the Liberal candidate for our riding, we engaged thousands of voters, sparked important conversations, and laid the groundwork for strong Liberal organizing in South Edmonton. While this chapter has closed, the work we've started will shape what comes next.
Jeremy brought heart, integrity, and vision to the campaign, and though we didn't take the seat this time, we achieved a significant milestone, securing 37.27% of the vote in Edmonton Gateway.
What's Next for Edmonton Gateway? We're just getting started. The Edmonton Gateway Federal Liberal EDA will continue to grow, connect with the community, and get ready for what comes next. We'll be hosting events, recruiting volunteers, and staying engaged in local and national issues, and we want you to be part of it.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
Thank you for believing in this movement. Thank you for showing up. And thank you for begin part of something bigger than any one of us. We can't wait to keep building with you.
